A brief background on how this site started; We got the IraqiMix.com forum established back in 2001 under the name Mesopotamia4ever.com. The idea behind this was to link Iraqis in Iraq together with friends and families from around the globe and we wanted a name that wasn't going to be easy to be picked up and banned in Iraq during the time that everything was filtered and blocked. We also wanted a friendly forum for people to from all over the world to come together, chat, share there thoughts together and have a bit of fun & entertainment.

The number of members grew and we were surprised. At that time we didn't have enough capacity to handle all the new members and posts. In 2002, we upgraded the forum and the hosting environment as well to be able to handle the increase in members and their demands.

Today, we have over 4500 registered members enjoying our wide variety of services that we offer for free. We also have a dedicated YouTube channel under http://youtube.com/IraqiStudioand an online radio station that broadcasts 24/7 (check the radio/tv link section on this site).

We always strive to offer the best services to our members and we're always coming up with new ones to improve our site and to keep our members happy.
